Leaders Jabloteh, Connection register wins
 
 

Front runners CLICO San Juan Jabloteh and W Connection were in winners’ row on Thursday registering 2-0 wins over their bottom of the table opponents Ma Pau SC and Tobago United respectively 
 
W Connection playing at the Dwight Yorke Stadium got their win courtesy goals from midfielders Jose Luis Seabra (44’) and Clyde Leon (60’) and strenghten their second position with 55 points and stay on the heels of Jabloteh. 
 
While Jabloteh playing at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium got their items courtesy 2008 signees midfielder Marvin Oliver (34’) and striker Jerrol Forbes (54’) to now have 58 points at the top. 
 
But Connection will see their gap much closer than three points having a game in hand against Joe Public rescheduled for Monday 17 November. 
 
Meantime Joe Public moved up a spot into fourth on the standings with 40 points following a 5-0 trashing of Defence Force on Thursday at the Marvin Lee Stadium. 
 
Jamaican forward Roen Nelson seems to be back to his old form netting eight goals in his last three outings, two hattricks and now a double against the Soldiers. 
 
Arnold Dwarika opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Nelson struck his first in the 27th minute. Defender Christopher Harvey added a third three minutes later and in the final minute of the first half Nelson completed his double for a comfortable 4-0 advatage. And three minutes from time Shane Calderon completed a 5-0 win getting his name on the scoresheet. 
 
Joe Public will meet Jabloteh on Saturday from 6pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium, W Connection will host Neal and Massy Caledonia AIA from 4pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium and already out of the Big Six, Defence Force will meet North East Stars from 4pm at the Malarbar venue.
